§ Mr. J. GriffithsFive bursaries have been given to European students from Kenya to study law in the United Kingdom since 1945, three of them being ex-Service men's awards. None in the particular field of law has been awarded to an African student. I am making inquiry of the Governor of Kenya about the number of applications refused and the reason for their refusal and will communicate with my hon. Friend on receipt of the reply.
