Mrs. Whiteasked the Minister of Education if he will arrange for this country to participate in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation token scheme for the purchase of foreign films of educational or scientific value, similar to the existing scheme for the purchase of books which would otherwise require foreign currency.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI am at present investigating, with the co-operation of my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade, the question whether the United Kingdom is able, within the terms of its existing trade agreements and arrangements, to participate in this scheme.
