§ Mr. IsaacsI am aware that cases still occur of the use of bracket scaffolds prohibited by Regulation 14 of the Building (Safety, Health and Welfare) Regulations, 1948. The obligation to observe this requirement rests on the employer and the workmen concerned; and the steps already taken by the Factory Inspectorate are effectively leading to its observance. If the hon. Member will furnish me with particulars of any alleged contravention of the requirement I will have the matter looked into.
