§ 34. Mr. Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will give particulars about the African District Councils Bill recently introduced in the Tanganyika Legislature; to what areas it applies; who is to vote, and by what method; and what powers are to be exercised by the councils.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsI am not aware that any such Bill has been introduced in the Tanganyika Legislature. I am, however, inquiring of the Governor and will write to my hon. Friend as soon as I receive a reply.
