§ Mr. StracheyTwo consignments of mutton and lamb were received from Holland during September. The first consignment of 13 tons, arrived in excellent condition. The second consignment weighed about 55 tons. Unfortunately, on arrival in this country 50 tons had to be condemned as unfit for human consumption. The question of responsibility for the loss is still being discussed between the Royal Netherlands Government and my Department.
