§ 89. Mr. Wyattasked the President of the Board of Trade what action he is proposing to take to stop increases in the prices of toys.
§ Mr. H. WilsonToys have been free from price control since July last. I understand that certain manufacturers have recently increased the prices of some of their toys, and that some imported toys are also rising in price. The Central Price Regulation Committee are making inquiries about these increases and the question whether price control should be re-imposed will be considered in the light of those inquiries.
