§ 74. Mr. S. Shephardasked the Economic Secretary to the Treasury over what period of time the amount of £21,548 10s., the debt for Income Tax and Surtax of Sidney Stanley, was incurred.
§ Mr. JayI cannot give any information about the Income Tax affairs of individual taxpayers. I understand that a Press report of the proceedings of the first meeting of the creditors stated that the Inland Revenue proofs related to Schedule D Tax going back to 1940–41 and to Surtax going back to 1945–46.
