§ Mr. StracheyMaize is released by my Department to the trade as whole grain. It may be flaked subsequently by a processor, who is responsible for the storage and turnover of his own stocks. Adequate measures to prevent deterioration of maize before release to the trade are taken as a matter of normal practice by my Department.
