§ 12. Mr. Carsonasked the Minister of Transport whether he will now take steps to make it compulsory for pedal cyclists to use bicycle tracks where these are provided.
§ Mr. BarnesMy policy is to encourage cyclists in accordance with the Highway Code to make fullest use of cycle tracks. I prefer at present to rely on their co-operation rather than to use compulsion.
