§ Mr. BarnesThe shipping industry have made great progress since the war in modernising the merchant fleet and by the end of 1952 the abnormal amount of old tonnage will have been largely replaced. I shall continue to do all in66W my power, in conjunction with the shipping industry, to facilitate this process.
