§ Mr. H. MorrisonA great deal of research has been done and is being done with this object in view. Part of the research is conducted in the countries of the Empire and Commonwealth where the tobacco is grown and covers such topics as selection of varieties and68W methods of grading and curing the leaves. Further research and testing is conducted in this country by the Imperial Institute and on a substantial scale by the tobacco firms on problems of storage, blending and smoking qualities.
