§ Dr. Broughtonasked the Minister of Health whether he will make a statement in regard to his negotiations with representatives of the dental profession concerning a further reduction in the scale of dentists' fees.
§ Mr. BevanDiscussions have been started with representatives of the dental organisations regarding a revision of the scale of fees, and I have drawn their attention to certain factors which must be taken into account and which, in my view, support a case for reduction in the present scale. Discussions are proceeding in the usual way and the final decision will not be taken until their outcome is known.
