§ 44. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether the salaries of American scientists and technicians assisting in Colonial development schemes will be paid in sterling or dollars; and to what funds will they be charged.
Mr. Creech JonesSalaries will be paid in dollars from Economic Co-operation Administration funds. Where local 'allowances are payable in addition to salary these will be paid in sterling from Colonial Government or Colonial Development and Welfare Funds.
