§ 104. Mr. Cuthbertasked the Minister of Education whether he is aware that in many rural schools milk is provided for the children which has not been tuberculin tested; and whether he will ensure that this practice is stopped.
§ Mr. TomlinsonMy aim is to provide under the milk in schools scheme pasteurised or tuberculin tested milk for all schools. In co-operation with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Food I have succeeded in providing these types of milk except for about 2½ per cent. of the total supplies in England and Wales. All milk supplies under the scheme have to be approved by the local medical officer of health.
