asked the Minister of Works what was the cost of erecting and dismantling the special flagstaffs in Trafalgar Square used in connection with the National Savings Campaign.

The cost of erecting and dismantling the flagstaffs was approximately £400. This expenditure does not fall upon the Votes of my Department.
