§ Mr. BottomleyI welcome the hon. Member's suggestion that a spirit of healthy rivalry should animate the efforts of all concerned in our export drive, but I feel that the grouping of export industries together on a regional or local basis would be unjust to the efforts of those regions, which, for obvious geographical or economic reasons, are less well-equipped than others to play a large part in our export trade. In my view the rivalry will be most effective if it is shown in the work of the individual factory or industry irrespective of locality.
