§ Mr. J. EdwardsThe nationalised industries received most sympathetically the request to which reference was made in the answer to a Question on the same subject given to my hon. Friend on 27th July. There is every reason to expect that they will do all they can to assist 27W and that, subject to the point that, in all respects contracts must be awarded on a competitive basis, worthwhile results will be achieved.
