§ Mr. ShinwellSince 1st May, 1948, the latest available figures show that five National Service men who have been commissioned and 11 National Service other ranks have been killed or have died of wounds in Malaya. Records are not readily available to show how many National Service men have been wounded during this period but the total number of British Army wounded in Malaya is 13 officers and 71 other ranks. The figures given include those accidentally killed or wounded.
