Noel-BakerIt is estimated that about a quarter of the Basutoland students who have taken a university teaching course, have subsequently taken108W posts in Government and mission schools in Basutoland. The normal salary scale is from £220 to £450, and in addition they receive free quarters. Only one medical student has passed a university course. He is now in private practice in Basutoland.
