§ 81. Mr. Rentonasked the Minister of Education when the Huntingdonshire County Education Committee may expect a reply to their letter dated 20th April, 1948, about aid to pupils at independent schools.
§ Mr. TomlinsonI regret the delay in dealing with this case. As the authority were informed in earlier semi-official correspondence, their letter raised an important point of principle which has been the subject of discussion with local education authority associations. A reply has now been sent.
