§ Colonel Stoddart-Scottasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware that it took 29 days to obtain information from the Customs and Excise Department as to the taking of jewellery and furs abroad on an official visit and that similar information requested at the same time from the Canadian authorities arrived in three days; and if he will take steps to improve the situation and reduce unnecessary delay.
