Mr. T. WilliamsI am aware that if straying could be prevented an increased head of stock might be grazed on hill land. With regard to the second part of the Question the construction of grids by owners and occupiers on private roads may be included in schemes of improvement assisted under the Hill Farming Act, 1946, but the subject of grids on the public highway is a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport.
