§ 79. Mr. Teelingasked the Minister of Pensions why notices have been sent informing ex-naval men that a pensions' welfare service is now in being to advise war pensioners; that welfare officers have been appointed at each of the local offices of the Ministry of Pensions; that naval men are to apply to the local post office for this welfare officer's address; and whether he is aware that in Brighton the post offices have no knowledge of such a person or of any address where to apply.
§ Mr. SimmonsI would refer the hon. Member to the answer which my right 119W hon. Friend gave yesterday in reply to a question by the hon. Member for Cambridge (Mr. Symonds). My right hon. Friend the Postmaster-General advised all post offices of the address of the appropriate war pensioners welfare office, but in view of the lack of information in Brighton, further notices have now been sent to all post offices in that area.
