§ 71. Sir W. Smithersasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will take steps to reduce the privileges and activities of foreign embassies in Britain to the same level as those enjoyed by 112W British embassies in respective foreign countries.
§ Mr. MayhewHis Majesty's Government have this matter under consideration. A number of legal and other difficulties arise and I am not in a position to make a more explicit statement at present.
