Mr. Ivor Owen Thomasasked the Minister of Health if he will give consideration to the question of unadopted roads which are scattered about in all parts of the country, the condition of which is a menace to public health and safety; and to take effective means whereby such roads will be made up for clean and safe public use as speedily as possible.
§ Mr. BevanThe initiation of private street works is the responsibility of local authorities and I cannot intervene. I am prepared to authorise work if the condition of a street is a menace to public health and safety.
