§ 62. Mr. Langford-Holtasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury for what reason the special extra duty allowance of eight per cent. granted to 21W established officers in Government offices in the London area is withheld from senior temporary assistants and temporary assistants, known as temporary executives, in the various Government offices, who work not less than the same number of hours per week, but who are paid only three per cent. in respect of additional hours above standard attendance; and if he will recognise the hours of attendance of these temporary executives by granting them equal treatment.
