Blackpool, except a few oil lamps, and that the staff are compelled to work with their overcoats on; and what steps lie is taking to improve the heating system.
§ Mr. KeyMost of the rooms in the Norbreck Hydro have central heating and the remainder are heated by coal fires or electricity. The hotel is, however, in an exposed position and oil stoves are used in addition to the other heating when the weather is very cold. Since the hotel was taken over, a considerable sum has been spent on improving the heating. The building will be derequisitioned as soon as other accommodation is available. I should not be justified in carrying out major improvements to the heating system.
