§ Mr. BevanThe only information available concerns children under 15 immunised through local authorities' arrangements. Returns from authorities in England and Wales for 1947 showed that 1,287 diphtheria cases and 16 deaths occurred among immunised children, as compared with 2,654 cases and 182 deaths among children who were not immunised.
