§ 62. Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many approved schools exist in Nigeria; how many boys and girls, respectively, are in those schools; and to what extent is accommodation adequate.
Mr. Creech JonesThere are two approved schools in Nigeria, both for boys. Their present strength totals 240. With the extension of delinquency services-further accommodation will be required and steps are already being taken to double the capacity at one of the schools.
