Macphersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is aware of the difficulty in obtaining steel ploughshares, and that ploughs are being sold to farmers without shares; and what steps he proposes to take to ensure that a sufficiency of steel ploughshares is available to farmers.
§ Mr. WoodburnI am not aware of any general difficulty in obtaining steel ploughshares in Scotland or of the sale of incomplete ploughs. If the hon. Member cares to let me have particulars of any cases he has in mind I should be glad to look into them.
