Smithersasked the Postmaster-General if, in view of the fact that prior to September, 1939, cheap rate long-distance calls operated till midnight and are now limited to from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m. for private subscribers, and 5.30 to 9.30 p.m. from public call boxes, he will consider reverting to the pre-war time table.
