§ Mr. H. WilsonIn 1948 imports from and exports to Sweden of footwear were valued at £4,000 and £170,000 respectively. In 1949, token imports of footwear from Sweden will be licensed, but the Swedish authorities have so far not agreed to license any imports of footwear from the United Kingdom this year. The matter will, however, be pursued shortly when a review of trade between the two countries is to take place.
