§ Mr. Platts-Millsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in order to save dollars, he will now endeavour to arrange for the allotment of Economic Co-operation Administration funds to be used to buy Canadian wheat.
§ Mr. JayThe allotment of E.C.A. funds is the responsibility, subject to the provisions of the Foreign Assistance Act, 1948, of the Economic Co-operation Administration which is already aware of the special position of the United Kingdom in relation to Canadian wheat supplies.
