§ Mr. Stokesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has considered the espionage organised by Major Julian Kajdy, Assistant Military Attaché at the Polish Embassy in London, against this country and the activities under the guise of cultural work by Polish Communists here in order to create bad feeling between Polish and British workers; and what steps he proposes to take to put a stop to both.
Mr. McNeilAs regards the first part of the Question, I understand that Major Kajdy left London a month ago. I also understand that he will not return. As regards the second part of the Question, my right hon. Friend has no doubt that we may count upon the good sense and loyalty of the Polish community in this country and he has been happy to note the excellent relations which now exist between Polish and British workers here.
