§ Mr. Viantasked the Minister of Health how far his regulations require doctors performing vaccinations against smallpox to report them to their local medical officers of health or executive committees; and how does his Department get information as to the number of vaccinations performed, the ages of the persons vaccinated and other information regarding the vaccinal condition of the infant population, such as was formerly collected by vaccination officers and sent to his Department.
§ Mr. BevanThere is no statutory requirement about this, but there are arrangements for doctors taking part in the vaccination service of local health authorities to supply them with records, and the authorities make returns accordingly to my Department.
