Mr. Platts-Millsasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations what instructions have been given to the British delegation at the United Nations organisation in regard to the action of the South African Government in submitting no further reports on the administration of South-West Africa.
§ Mr. Gordon-WalkerThe Union Government's recent communication on this subject to the Secretary-General of the United Nations was brought to the attention of the Trusteeship Council last week. The United Kingdom representative pointed out that the Trusteeship Council had no competence to discuss the substance of this communication, which has been referred by the Council to the United Nations General Assembly.
