§ 40. Mr. P. Freemanasked the Minister of Transport whether all preliminary plans for the erection of the new bridge over the Severn at West Beachley have now been completed and all possible arrangements made pending official approval for proceeding with this scheme.
§ Mr. BarnesSuch preliminary steps as soil survey, trial soundings and borings have been completed as far as necessary for the present, but the investigations by the National Physical Laboratory, including the tests in the wind tunnel, will not be completed until 1952.
