§ 7. Mr. Frederic Harrisasked the Minister of Food what restrictions there are on the opening of shops or businesses by private individuals unconnected with the Overseas Food Corporation in the areas in Tanganyika leased to the Corporation.
§ Mr. StracheyI understand that the Corporation normally lay down certain conditions designed to safeguard public health and to avoid the undesirable siting of shops and businesses, but that apart from this they seek to impose as few restrictions as possible.
