§ Mr. Wilfred PalingFarmers as a class are given priority in common with the essential requirements of Government Departments, public utilities, health and life-saving services, and firms engaged on production and distribution for export or for saving imports. Where extensive new line construction is required, the Post Office would seek the view of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries before deciding to provide a telephone.
