asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action the Government of Uganda propose to take on the Report of the Uganda Cotton Industry Commission of 1948.

The Uganda Government have not yet decided upon the action to be taken on the recommendations of the Report of the Uganda Cotton Industry Commission, 1948, but is giving urgent consideration to them.
