§ 102. Mr. Legge-Bourkeasked the Minister of Health how many local authorities have let houses since the war which contain neither solid fuel, electric, nor gas cooking appliances; and in how many cases the reason for this has been that if such appliances were provided the cost of the houses would exceed the maximum permitted by his Department.
§ Mr. BevanI would not approve local authority plans unless provision were made for cooking. The second part of the Question does not, therefore, arise.
