§ 30. Mr. Medlandasked the Minister of Works if his attention has been called to the numerous complaints by householders at the refusal of his Department to replace railings and gates confiscated during the war; and what steps he is taking to replace these gates and railings.
§ Mr. KeyI am aware of the complaints, but I dealt with this matter very fully during the Adjournment Debate on 8th November last. For the reasons I then gave, I do not propose to seek to amend the Regulations to permit any general replacement of gates and railings at the public expense.
