§ 82. Mr. Piratinasked the Minister of Transport how, in view of the United States Government intention of shipping 50 per cent. of goods supplied under E.R.P. in United States vessels, he proposes to carry out the objectives stated in paragraph 67 of Command Paper No. 7572 on European Co-operation.
§ Mr. BarnesParagraph 67 of Command Paper 7572 indicates that the shipping policy of the United Kingdom is directed to the removal of obstacles to the free international circulation of shipping and to promoting the availability of shipping services to the commerce of the world without discrimination. I propose to carry that policy into effect by continuing to do what I can to secure international agreement upon it.
