§ Mr. Orbachasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will consider making representations, jointly with the Dutch Foreign Minister and the United States Secretary of State to the Security Council of the United Nations, with a view to obtaining the release of those civilian internees who are being held as prisoner of war by the Egyptian Government.
Mr. McNeilI am advised that it would not be appropriate to refer a question of this nature to the Security Council of the United Nations. We will, however, make further representations to the Egyptian Government on the subject.
