§ 60. Colonel Crosthwaite-Eyreasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give an assurance that measures of exchange control designed to safeguard the resources of the sterling area are exercised equally by all members of the sterling area, and those other countries who have claims on the sterling area, and that allocations from the resources of the sterling area are based on the need of the country concerned to purchase essential commodities.
