§ Mr. Dribergasked the Attorney-General if he has considered the issue of "Review of World Affairs," an intelligence digest, for 3rd January, 1949, and the references contained therein to visits by detectives to Bishop Auckland in connection with alleged licensing irregularities in which a right hon. Member of this House was said to be involved; and if he will consider instituting proceedings for criminal libel against those responsible for this publication.
§ The Attorney-GeneralScurrilous, offensive and untrue as certain of the statements contained in the issue of the "Review of World Affairs" to which my attention is directed are, they do not, in my view, justify proceedings for criminal libel.
