§ Viscount Hinchingbrookeasked the Economic Secretary to the Treasury if he will give the total receipts of Purchase Tax during the present financial year to the nearest convenient date and for the corresponding period of the previous year, on each of the articles subject to Purchase Tax which enter into the official calculations of the cost of living index.
