§ Mr. StracheyAbout 140,000 tons of ware and seed potatoes will be sold abroad by my Department from the 1948 crop principally to Egypt, the Control Commission for Germany, Greece, Lebanon, Spain and Uruguay, for about £2,125,000. In addition, applications by private traders to export 21,409 tons of seed have been approved.
