§ Mr. G. BrownSuggested county acreages for the main vegetable crops for 1949, were sent to county agricultural executive committees in September last. I am sending the hon. Member a statement showing the figures for Kent. I have advised growers to plan for increased plantings of dessert apples and pears and of soft fruits, particularly strawberries.
