§ 11. Mr. Hurdasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if the officers of the Colonial Agricultural Service in Tanganyika are regularly consulted by the Overseas Food Corporation in the development of the groundnuts scheme in East Africa.
Mr. Creech JonesMonthly meetings are held at Dar-es-Salaam at which senior representatives of the Tanganyika Government and of the Overseas Food Corporation discuss matters of common interest, including agriculture. The Tanganyika member for Agriculture and Natural Resources and the General Manager of Agriculture of the Corporation or his senior representative attend.
